2-page spread
The problem with being used to thinking in print is that I start applying print design & layout sensibilities to the web… which doesn’t translate well in these instances. ^_^;; There’s only 1 or 2 more 2-page spreads coming up. Unfortunately I had already finished inking & toning by the time I realized there would be a problem… or I blissfully ignored it. Most likely the latter.
Another comic this week
For some bizarre reason (read: I didn’t do the math right) I scheduled one more comic than I was supposed to for next week, so I’ll post another one this week instead.
Clockwork will get around to reviewing & revising some of the future chapters, while I just finished inking an entire chapter… I still have to color the cover, tone and apply text… then nap.
Zzz.
Oh, also, Clockwork finished Mass Effect 3. He enjoyed the game in general… was not amused by the last marauder that was trying to protect him from the ending, and was extremely disappointed by the ending. This doodle sums up his feelings on the matter:
Tinker, tinker

Poking around with the site a bit. If you ever come to this site and a graphic is busted, it means I’ve done something wrong or I blame the dog.
Clockwork is still busy with Mass Effect 3, he’ll sign off on Chapter 2 once I’ve got things to a comfortable point. I recently finished Star Ocean: The Last Hope (International version). The cutscenes were brutally long, but overall I’ve had fun. The differences in characters and who is what archetype is too obvious though. Which makes me wonder about a full spectrum of “genki.” Ie. lawful-good genki vs chaotic-evil genki.
The image to the left is a character design I was working on before I decided against a modern setting… and also before I decided against color. I’m aware she has a severe case of weird face. Speaking of which, so does that female reporter from Mass Effect 3.
Misty Sketches
In other unrelated news, a coworker of mine started a sketch blog for her random musings. First sketch featured is an object on my cube wall that slowly turns into potato chip money.

Clockwork going into hibernation
Well, Mass Effect 3 arrived… so I removed the game from the Amazon envelope and hid it, tore up the envelope, left it on the ground surrounded by chewed up dog toys and waited for the show to begin.
Clockwork was not amused. To illustrate my point:
